Andrzej Nedoma

Andrzej Nedoma

Founder of nedoma.io · Strategic Advisor · Certified High Performance Coach

Andrzej Nedoma is a Polish entrepreneur with more than 25 years of executive experience, two international company exits, and a Certified High Performance Coach credential issued by Brendon Burchard's High Performance Institute. He is the founder of nedoma.io Business Advisory and ExecSide, and works as a strategic partner and coach to CEOs and business founders who are scaling, transitioning, or exiting their companies, or simply leading them with clarity, fulfillment, and energy that lasts.

He coaches in English, Italian, French, and Polish, serving clients across Europe, North America, and global markets.

The Coaching Philosophy: Clarity → Challenge → Decisions → Accountability

Andrzej's coaching methodology rests on four pillars that he believes every CEO needs and rarely has all at once:

Clarity, knowing what actually matters this week, this quarter, this year.
Challenge, a partner who pushes you to find better answers than the ones you arrived with.
Decisions, moving from thinking to choosing, with full ownership.
Accountability, actually executing on what was decided, week after week.

This four-pillar framework underpins both of his offerings: individual 1-on-1 coaching and the ExecSide group membership.

Professional Background

Andrzej's career spans more than 25 years of hands-on operational leadership, including building two companies from zero to international scale, leading through a near-bankruptcy turnaround, executing a management buyout from venture capital investors, and completing two cross-border exits.

LIDO-LANG Specialized Translations (sold 2016)

Andrzej began his entrepreneurial journey during his university studies, after returning from an Erasmus exchange program in Bergamo, Italy. He joined his father's one-person technical translation business in Kraków, Poland, not as a translator, but with the intention of transforming it into a scalable company.

Under his leadership, the business evolved into LIDO-LANG Specialized Translations, an international translation services company with around 30 in-house staff, hundreds of active freelancers, thousands of tested language specialists, and a client base across Western Europe.

In 2016, LIDO-LANG was acquired by SeproTec (Sepro Group), one of the leading global translation companies, with operations across Europe and the United States. The acquisition was preceded by deliberate owner-dependency reduction: a management board, delegation of daily operations, and a clear separation between ownership and execution.

XTRF Management Systems (sold 2021)

While scaling LIDO-LANG, Andrzej identified a structural gap: there was no purpose-built management software for translation companies. This led him to co-found XTRF Management Systems, a SaaS Translation Management System for the global language services industry. XTRF grew into an international platform serving hundreds of companies in 30+ countries.

The 2016 Crisis. XTRF raised venture capital in 2014. In mid-2016, a promised follow-on funding round was unexpectedly cancelled days before critical payments were due. The company employed nearly 100 people and faced immediate bankruptcy risk. As CEO, Andrzej led an emergency turnaround: same-day staff reduction (~25%), aggressive cost control, prepaid sales and service pre-sales, transparent communication with the team, and temporary salary deferrals. The company survived without additional external funding. This period became a defining leadership experience that shaped his approach to focus, decision-making under pressure, and crisis leadership.

The Management Buyout. After stabilizing the business, growth was strictly self-financed. Recurring SaaS revenue became the core model, and EBITDA profitability was achieved. Conflicts with VC investors intensified, and during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Andrzej identified an opportunity to regain control. He led a management buyout, personally securing financing to buy out the investors.

The Exit. Within months of the buyout, the transaction attracted market attention. In September 2021, Andrzej and his partners completed a 100% sale of XTRF to K1 Investment Management, a Los Angeles–based private equity firm. The exit valuation was more than double the buyout valuation and over ten times larger than the LIDO-LANG exit. He remained involved during a nine-month transition period, supporting leadership continuity, governance under PE ownership, and the appointment of a new managing director.

Endurance Athletics

Andrzej is an active Ironman triathlete. He began endurance training during the most difficult period at XTRF, using long-distance triathlon as a parallel discipline to long-term leadership challenges. He has completed multiple Ironman 70.3 races and a full Ironman distance after his second exit. The endurance, discipline, and pacing of long-course racing inform his coaching philosophy and his belief that building a successful business requires not only strategy and execution, but also energy management, emotional resilience, and clarity of personal purpose.

Mission

Andrzej's mission is to help entrepreneurs and business leaders build companies that enable the life they want, not consume it.
