The two exits.
I began as a Polish entrepreneur, joining my father's one-person translation business after returning from an Erasmus exchange in Bergamo, Italy. Under my leadership it became LIDO-LANG Specialized Translations, one of the top translation services suppliers in Central Europe. We sold it in 2016 to SeproTec, one of the top players worldwide, based in Spain.
In parallel I co-founded XTRF Management Systems, a SaaS platform for the global language industry. We raised venture capital. In 2016 a promised follow-on round was cancelled days before critical payments, we faced bankruptcy. As CEO I led the turnaround: a same-day reduction in headcount, transparent communication, prepaid sales, temporary salary deferrals. We survived without additional outside funding.
In 2020 I led a management buyout of the VC investors. In September 2021, we sold 100% of XTRF to K1 Investment Management in Los Angeles, at more than double the buyout valuation, and ten times larger than the LIDO-LANG exit.
Why coaching.
After the second exit I founded nedoma.io to channel that experience into coaching and advisory work for CEOs. I'm a Certified High Performance Coach trained by Brendon Burchard's High Performance Institute. I'm an active Ironman triathlete. I coach in English, Italian, French, and Polish.
Polish Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 in the Services category, but the recognition that matters to me now is what my clients build after we work together.
